STEM for Kids Summer Programs coming to South Suburban College in June


SOUTH HOLLAND, IL – South Suburban College’s Office of Continuing Education and STEM Department are partnering to offer courses to help fill the summer days with activities that will inspire and challenge kids and young adults.

Explore various areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) utilizing tools available in the SouthWorks Maker Lab. Topics will include: 2D and 3D Design, 3D printing, electronics, programming and raspberry pi technology.
All of these areas will be used as students work to build their own electronic gaming device, which they will take home with them at the end of the camp.

KFKSSC is pleased to offer several STEM for Kids classes at the Oak Forest Center in June for grade school and high school students:

KFK CO3 701-STEM CAMP
Cost: $300; includes lab materials
Students entering 4th-8th grade
June 18-21 MTh, 8:30am – 12:00pm
OFC RM 5160

KFK CO3 702-STEM CAMP
Cost: $300; includes lab materials
Students entering 9th-12th grade
June 18-21 MTh, 1:00pm – 4:30pm
OFC RM 5160
