SOUTH HOLLAND, IL–The South Suburban College Office of Student Life and Leadership will present “The Non-Traditional Workforce for Men and Women” on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, from 12:00-2:00pm in the Kindig Performing Arts Center.
Students, faculty, staff and the community are invited to listen to and engage in meaningful dialogue with a panel filled with our own faculty and staff. They will discuss and show the importance of non-traditional job roles, how they have changed throughout the years, and how South Suburban College can help you get a head start, a certificate, or degree towards these professions. Non-traditional career training for women offered at SSC includes our new Welding Program, Highway Construction and Trades, Building and Construction, Computer Science, Applied Engineering Technology, Cisco Academy, Truck Driving, and more. Non-Traditional career training for men offered at SSC includes Nursing, Teacher Aide, Paralegal, Administrative Assistant and more.
