Objective:

The Radiologic Technology Program Student Worker is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Radiologic Technology Program Coordinator, Clinical Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant. This role aims to offer valuable work experience to students while allowing them to balance their academic commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist with general office tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and managing paperwork.
  • Event Coordination: Help plan and execute events on campus, which may include annual pinning ceremony, orientations, and other student-related activities.
  • Student Services: Provide information and assistance to fellow students regarding campus resources, programs, and services. Assist in maintaining student records, tracking attendance, and managing student databases.
  • Research Assistance: Support faculty with literature reviews, data collection, analysis, and other research-related tasks.
  • Laboratory Support: Assist in maintaining and stocking laboratory supplies.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special assignments or projects as assigned by supervisors or department heads.

    • Disposal of Outdated Equipment
    • Cleaning and Organizing Anatomical Models and Bones
    • Image Transfer and PACS Duties
    • Preparation of Radiographic Classroom and Laboratory

Qualifications:

Enrollment as a Radiologic Technology Program student at the college or university. Good academic standing (as defined by the institution). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet). Depending on the specific role, additional skills or knowledge related to the department may be required (e.g., proficiency in specific software, knowledge of specific academic subjects, etc.).

Work Schedule:

Typically part-time, with hours adjusted to accommodate the student’s class schedule. Supervision: The Radiologic Technology Program Student Worker will report to the Radiologic Technology Program Coordinator, Clinical Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant.
