SOUTH HOLLAND, IL – SSC Men’s Basketball player, sophomore guard Jovan Mooring (Hillcrest HS), was named NJCAA “NATIONAL” Division II Player-of-the-Week for the second time this season. Last week, Mooring averaged 38.3 points, grabbed 8.7 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, and snatched 3 steals a game.

The Bulldogs went 3-0 last week and vaulted to the #2 ranking in the latest NJCAA Division II poll.   Bulldogs are currently 22-2 on the season. Region IV has the top two ranked teams in the country.  Triton is currently #1 and South Suburban #2.  This is the first time in Region IV history that this has happened.
