Apply for Financial Aid by visiting www.fafsa.ed.gov
The new FAFSA will be processed starting in the Fall semester. Do NOT delay submitting your FAFSA because your tax return data is not yet complete. If you are unable to file your tax return, you may use estimates from the prior year.
It is strongly recommended to use “the IRS retrieval tool” to complete your FAFSA to avoid mistakes. After submitting your FAFSA, be sure to review the Student Aid Report (SAR) that is sent to you by the FAFSA processor in 3-5 business days. Until you speak with a Financial Aid representative, DO NOT assume that your FAFSA is complete.
Due to the shortage of state funding, it is advantageous to complete the FAFSA early. The Monetary Award Program (MAP) is on the first come first served basis and will be exhausted.
If you have any questions or concerns, please visit your Financial Aid office to speak with a representative.
