The Crown Act and the History of Black Hair in American Society

Step into a world where history meets empowerment, where culture ignites change, and where every strand tells a story! Join the SSC Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences and Sociology Professor Antoinett Lane for a discussion on the history of Black hair and the implementation of the Crown Act in schools around the nation. This event is open for all to attend on Friday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Room 3351 on the Main Campus. Food will be served and prizes will be awarded.
