SOUTH HOLLAND, IL–The Business & Career Institute (BCI) of South Suburban College presents a four-part webinar entitled Building a Company Culture of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion starting Thursday, June 10th from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., with subsequent dates of June 24th, July 8th and July 22nd.
Research shows that companies that embrace diversity and inclusion drive innovative and profitable results, improve brand reputation and increase employee retention. Where do businesses start in creating a DEI program or build a DEI culture? How is an initiative like this even approached? Facilitated by Diversity, Equity & Inclusion expert Coya Castro, this series of webinars is designed to start meaningful conversations that foster profound change, contributing significantly to bridging the gap between diversity divides.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: As an organizational development consultant, Castro’s ultimate goal is to help ensure the sustainability, health, and growth of organizations in order to maximize the support and empowerment of individuals, families, and communities. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from the University of Chicago, three Master’s Degrees and several certificates from North Park University. Castro’s expertise includes a multidisciplinary approach to researching and applying best practices in executive/leadership coaching, strategic planning and management, change management, HR, operations, finance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion to improve employee and organizational performance. There are 1.5. PDCs available for SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP and HRCI certification holders for each session attended.
