The South Suburban College Athletic Department takes pride that our student athletes are eligible to become NJCAA All-Academic Student-Athlete Award recipients. Below is a listing of the three NJCAA All-Academic Student-Athlete Awards with the qualifying grade-point average for each honor:

NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA
NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA
NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA

 
Pryor to 2016, the awards were under the following names and qualifying grade-point average for each honor:

NJCAA Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence: 4.00 GPA
NJCAA Superior Academic Achievement Award: 3.80-3.99 GPA
NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement Award: 3.60-3.79 GPA
